Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to run the game you signed up for and process purchases); legitimate interests (security, anti-abuse, improving the Service); consent where required (for any optional non-essential cookies or communications); and legal obligation (record-keeping, responding to lawful requests).
The Service uses browser local storage to hold your login token so you stay signed in. This is essential to the functioning of the game. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add optional analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

We keep account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the Service. Transaction records are kept as long as required for legal and accounting purposes. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records by law. Public game content (such as forum posts) may remain visible in an anonymized form.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including hashing passwords and restricting access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. EEA/UK users may lodge a complaint with their local data-protection authority; in the Netherlands this is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and delete personal information and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. The Service is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.
